In the lecture, Dr. Yang Chuan summarized and clarified the fundamental principles of economics, explained the role of economics in business practices and communication between China and Japan, and pointed out the common misconceptions about cross-cultural communication caused by the disparities in business customs between the two countries. Dr. Wang Kai, Associate Dean of SFS and Associate Professor of the Japanese Department, gave a lecture comment. Students from the Japanese Department and Japanese overseas students actively interacted and raised questions, greatly enhancing the understanding of business economics between Chinese and Japanese students.

Before the meeting, Associate Dean Dr. Wang Kai and Dr. Yang Chuan had a thorough discussion and came to a strong agreement on several issues, including the undergraduate dual degree program.

As a well-known private university in Japan, Chuo University excels in researching and conducting research in management and economics. In July of this year, they warmly received visits from teachers and students of Nankai University. Following the Sino-Japanese University Presidents Forum in December of last year, it further deepened the exchange and cooperation between the two sides.
