University of Bristol comes to the College of Foreign Languages to promote the internationalization development project

On the afternoon of November 25, Professor Natalie Edwards from the School of Modern Languages at the University of Bristol and Ms. Susanna Batten from the International Cooperation Office visited the College of Foreign Languages to discuss the international development project with Associate Professor Wang Kai, the Vice Dean of the College of Foreign Languages, and Professor Li Li from the EnglishDepartment.



Both sides had an in-depth discussion on exchange programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as academic exchanges between teachers from the two universities, and reached a broad consensus. Both sides have a solid foundation for cooperation and are eager to engage in regular and in-depth visits and exchanges between the College of Foreign Languages at Nankai University and the School of Modern Languages and School of Arts at the University of Bristol in the future. They fully support and promote the collaboration between the two universities to achieve long-term, stable, and practical development.

The University of Bristol is a world-renowned institution with a rich and illustrious history. It is currently ranked 55th in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. The School of Modern Languages includes French, German, Italian, Russian, and other language faculties. The School of Arts includes programs in English, history, and other humanities faculties. Both schools provide excellent education in their respective fields.
