On March 14, Liu Li, President of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), Huang Yifang and Nie Dan, Vice Presidents, Yu Youxue, Assistant to the President and Director of the Personnel Department, Guo Peng, Assistant to the President, Dean of the Graduate School and Director of the Department of Chinese International Education, and a delegation from the Office of the University, Organization Department, Office of Scientific Research, Office of Development Planning and Discipline Construction, Office of Academic Affairs, Office of International Education Management, Confucius Institute Work Office, International Chinese Education Practice and Research Base, Belt and Road Research Institute, and Student Affairs visited the College of Foreign Languages of Nankai University.

Liu Li introduced the characteristics and recent development of Beijing Language and Culture University. He expressed his hope to strengthen the multi-disciplinary exchange and cooperation with Nankai University in the future, with complementary advantages and win-win cooperation.
Prof Yan Guodong expressed a warm welcome to the delegation of Beijing Language and Culture University and introduced the history and recent development of the College of Foreign Languages of Nankai University. He said that the cooperation between the College of Foreign Languages of Nankai University and Beijing Language and Culture University in discipline development and talent training has a long history. He hoped that the two sides would continue to strengthen communication and collaboration, jointly promote the connotation construction of foreign language disciplines and create a new situation of discipline development.
On the same day, Liu Li and his delegation also visited the Academic Resource Center and the window bulletin board of the College of Foreign Languages. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on the topics of sinology research and professional construction.
