On the evening of March 8, 2023, the College of Foreign Languages held a meeting on graduate education in this semester in an online format. The meeting was chaired by Professor Li Min, Vice Dean of the College of Foreign Languages, and attended by all faculty members of the Graduate Office as well as all graduate instructors and instructors of the College.

First of all, Prof. Li Min summarized the overall work of postgraduate teaching in the first semester of 2022-2023 academic year. All teachers at the College overcame the difficulties of the epidemic to complete the work arranged by the University and the College with excellent results. He informed the teachers about the recent work of the University such as textbook review, ideological education, subject declaration and thesis review. Prof. Li Min pointed out that graduate education should organically integrate professional education and political education, and continuously improve the breadth and depth of the course political thinking. At the same time, postgraduate supervisors and teachers should actively implement the spirit of relevant documents, do a good job in the construction of teacher ethics and academic standards, implement the fundamental task of building moral character, and increase the guidance of postgraduates. It is necessary to pay close attention to the thesis process management and strengthen the quality of graduate thesis.

After that, Ms. Wang Yuqian, Ms. Xu Jing and Ms. Li Shanshan from Graduate Office conveyed the recent matters related to the regulation of textbook use, 2023 postgraduate review, 2023 postgraduate thesis review, defense and degree conferment by the University.
