At the symposium, Yan Guodong expressed his warm welcome to the visit of School of Foreign Languages of Hebei University of Technology. He introduced in detail the professional construction, discipline construction, talent training, student work and cultural environment construction of the College of Foreign Languages of Nankai University. He exchanged views and experiences on professional settings and other issues in the light of the current situation. Shi Meifang expressed his gratitude to the College of Foreign Languages of Nankai University for its warm reception. She expressed her hope to take this opportunity to study and learn from the successful experience and construction initiatives of the College of Foreign Languages of Nankai University to promote the development of the College of Foreign Languages. After the symposium, a delegation from the School of Foreign Languages of Hebei University of Technology also visited the Academic Resource Center, Young Teachers’ Studio and Staff House, and investigated the construction of our cultural environment, and held a recruitment promotion activity for fresh PhD graduates. Shi Meifang explained in detail the recruitment policy of HEBUT to the doctoral students who attended the lecture, and welcomed the outstanding talents from Nankai University to work and develop their careers in HEBUT.
