On June 9, 2022, Mudan Academy held the experience sharing and exchange meeting for the 2022 outstanding undergraduates. The exchange meeting was presided over by Zhang Xinya, an undergraduate. Dr. Zhang Chen and Prof. Li Min from the English Department organized and participated in the meeting.
During the exchange meeting, Deng Chuyu first shared her experience in applying for the MTI major of Beijing Foreign Studies University. Huang Shuting reported on the process and precautions for the postgraduate admission of domestic students in the field of literature. Ju Hong shared her mentalitywhen applying for a famous foreign university. Yang Xiaoran focused on the opportunities and challenges of getting joint honors degree in English and Computer majors. Fan Rongrong, Lan Zefei and Zhang Xinya discussed about the choice-making of specialty and precautions for graduate program admission.
At the end of the meeting, based on students’ and their experience, Dr. Zhang Chen and Prof. Li Min discussed with the students on professional knowledgelearning, mental preparation in different grades, postgraduate entrance examination, and process of studying abroad. This meeting was held online and teachers and students all gained benefit with their active participation.
This is the second time that Mudan Academy has held experience sharing and exchange activities for outstanding undergraduates since its establishment in 2020. It has an important influence on exploring the academic mode of “intelligence academy”, diversifying teaching methods, and improving students’ development.
