Recently, the “Tutor’s Appointment—Postgraduate Teacher-Student Afternoon Tea” activity hosted by the Graduate Work Department of the Party Committee and undertaken by the Academic Department of the Graduate Association of the College of Foreign Languages was held online and offline simultaneously. At this event, Jiang Yundou, an associate professor of the Japanese Department of the College of Foreign Languages and a doctor of Japanese classical literature from the Renmin University of China, was invited to give a lecture titled “China in the world of the Kana kusako written by Asai Ryoi”.
In the lecture, Jiang Yundou introduced the basic information of Ryoi Asai, the introduction to Kana Kusaka and the research value behind Asai Ryoi. He said that Kana kusako is an important literary style in the history of Japanese literature with a history of more than 400 years, but there are still many discussions on the definition of its concept. Among them, Ryoi Asai has created a large number of Kana Kusago works with a full range of types, which are good research materials.
Jiang Yundou shared some of his own research on Lianyi Asai and sorted out the ancient Chinese classics that Asai Ryoi used to create his Kana kusako, so that everyone can understand the poet’s origins with China more clearly. He said that when doing research, it is necessary to consider works, writers and readers together, and start from a writer to find its group.
After the sharing, Jiang Yundou seriously answered the students’ questions and encouraged everyone to think more. At the same time, he also suggested that all students to take themselves out of their research and think slowly.
