In order to further promote the employment of 2021 graduates, concentrate on the key questions and difficulties in terms of employment of graduates and encourage students to actively seek jobs at the key nodes of campus recruitment in spring, College of Foreign Languages held the Medium Employment Promotion Meeting for 2021 Graduates on 17th, March. Dai Feilong from Students Career Center in Nankai University, the instructor of the graduating class of undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates in the class of 2021 attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dai Feilong gave an employment guidance according to the current employment situation. She made an in-depth analysis of the social background of 2021 graduates’ employment and the choices of employment directions of former graduates in College of Foreign Languages, sorted out the problems existing in the employment process according to the present situation of graduates’ employment and put forward the corresponding solutions. Dai Feilong encouraged students to promote their understanding of the work unit and the post applied for by them, collect related information, actively pay attention to and participate in the campus recruitment and career talks. Besides, students should give a rational consideration to taking examinations for a graduate program and conducting it for the second time, seize the opportunity and make the best use of the campus recruitment in spring
Instructor of the graduating class, Zhou Wenyu elaborated the schedule of works related to the employment of 2021 graduates, the process of contract signing and dispatch procedures of residence and personal file, placed special stress on the explanation for important concepts in the employment and answered related questions. In his concluding speech, he encouraged students to seize the opportunity of the campus recruitment in spring, build up the correct outlooks on employment and profession choosing, inquire about the employment environment and circumstances of the employer, and actively consider potential alternatives of employment.
