On May 26th, the College of Foreign Languages held the Cloud Job Opening Session for the graduates of 2021 for the purpose of serving the career development of them. Dai Longfei, professor of Employment Guidance Center, was invited to deliver a lecture Stepping into the Working Place; Are you Ready? Xiang Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the college and Zhou Wenyu, counselor of the graduates attended the session.
Dai Longfei introduced the the employment situation for graduates of 2020 as the anti-epidemic prevention and control was back to normal and the economy was experiencing transformation and upgrading. He warned the students of making information of job hunting clear and gained a full understanding of the company, analyzing the statistics of career choices of graduates in the past three years. He suggested that students make good use of the platform and resources to have a clear idea of their career choice and increase their ability to hunt for a job.
Zhou Wenyu presented the matters needing attention about the employment process and signing contracts and expounded the nine methods of searching a job such as expanding the community-based projects, recruiting college students to troops and increasing the faculty and preferential policies for employment in the western regions and communities.
Xiang Yu came to the conclusion, saying that students should make their practices and experiences richer with a positive attitude and grasp every employment opportunity.
