On November 20, 2019, 1:30 pm, the meeting of Undergraduate Teaching Steering Committee of 2019-2020, first semester was held in Room 139 of CFL. The meeting was hosted by Wang Kai, the deputy dean in charge of undergraduate teaching. All members of the Undergraduate Teaching Steering Committee attended the meeting and Zou Yujie, the secretary of the Communist Party Committee of CFL, and Yan Guodong, the dean of CFL presented with addresses.
All the members at meeting studied, discussed, and deployed the “Opinions of Deepening the Reform of Undergraduate Education and Teaching to Improve the Quality of Talents by the Ministry of Education” (the Ministry of Education, Item 22), and “Plan on Improving the Quality of First-Class Undergraduate Education of Nankai University (2019-2021)”, also known as “40 Items of Nankai University”, the important documents of the Ministry of Education and the Academic Affairs Office on undergraduate education and teaching. The meeting conveyed the spirit in the Academic Affairs Office conference of the “Professional Construction of Nankai University New Liberal Arts”. Meanwhile, the “Implementation of 2020 Undergraduate Education and Teaching Projects Notice” was studied and deployed.
“Regulations of 2020 Undergraduate Major Transfer in CFL” and “Plan on 2021FAS Push Avoid Quota Assignment in CFL”, and relevant motions about undergraduate education and teaching such as 2020 recommended students enrollment, FAS program class and adding “Foreign Language Drama” as professional optional course were studied and approved. Detailed work on final exam on 2019-2020, first semester was also deployed.
The conference was rich in content and very efficient. While carrying out the the belief of the Ministry of Education and Academic Affairs Office, it also further promoted the implementation of work in combination with the actual situation of the college. The meeting achieved good results.
