For the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the NKU and the CFL, teachers, students and alumni were gathered to record the ten-language school song and film its MV. It has been officially issued in the welcome conference for the freshmen of this year to pay tribute to the 100th anniversary.

It took nearly half a year to translate the school song from Chinese to English, Japanese, French, Russian, Spanish, Portugal, Italian and Arabic and film the MV. The advices from Chinese and foreign teachers, students and alumni were for our reference. With the linguistic competence and bearing the school history in mind, the students of the CFL have worked to carry forward the guiding principles of education and the culture embodied in the song to the outside world through the new form of music. This will let the world hear the voice of the NKU.

Besides the auditory experience, we filmed a MV for the visual experience. The MV started from the founding of the NKU in 1919, when the scholars experienced many hardships for the dream to cultivate skilled personnel and build the NKU into a stronger university. Then it depicted the development of the school from the faculty at home and abroad of our college, the advancement of the college life of students, the improvement of the infrastructure and the treasure house of more than 40000 volumes of books. The MV ended with the video from the wish of students, teachers and alumni from all over the world. The MV was a gift for the 100th Anniversary of the NKU.

It was said that the MV was supported by the Publicity Department of the Party Committee and students and teachers including the professional teachers from all departments of the CFL, the foreign teachers from the Department of Russian, students and teachers from Hong Kong, Macaw and Taiwan, Tibetan students, alumni working in high institutions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The recording for the development of the CFL, education and the life of students and teachers would made students and teachers embrace the sense of identity, belonging and pride. The MV was also a better way to let the world to know the NKU and the CFL.
