Throughout June 29th to July 29th, 2019, all students from 2018 FAS Class of the Department of Russian in the CFL attended the school exchange program at the Moscow State Pushkin Language Institute.
While attending the four weeks of lessons as scheduled, students visited some historic attractions in their spare time such as Red Square, the Kremlin Palace, Thretyakov Gallery, Linin State Library and Sergeyev Town to appreciate the local culture.
In the last week, the institute held a fraternity for students of the summer training where foreign friends across the world performed their distinctive programs and students of the FAS Class and another class worked to sing a self-made song.
Guided by the professors of the Department of Russian for international students, students acquired the knowledge of grammar, spoken language, national realities and Russian culture in various forms of learning. The teachers encouraged students from different countries to exchange their ideas and engaged in the on-site teaching outside the classroom. Within the context of pure foreign language, students actively interacting with their foreign teacher and yield a lot from the harmonious atmosphere.
In the meanwhile, Russia’s diverse and interesting teaching mode enable students motivated to learn Russian.
One month’s training witnessed the enhancement of students’ linguistic proficiency and more profound understanding of the Russian culture. As China has long established cooperative relationship with Moscow State Pushkin Language Institute, this program would bring the friendship of both sides into a higher level.
