The mobilization meeting for the 2020 graduates was held by our college in the Seventh Auditorium. The meeting presided over by the graduate advisor Zhou Wenyu was attended by Xiang Yu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CFL and deputy president of CFL, and all the 2020 graduates.
At the meeting, Zhou presented a detailed introduction of the employment of the 2018 and 2019 graduates. Based on the characteristics of the graduates of our college, he shared some hot professions for the graduates to choose from based on their own interest and ability. In addition, he explained the employment process of the 2020 graduates and introduced the career counseling project called “Career Running Man” (the 7th season).
Through a careful analysis of Beijing-Tianjin-Shanghai employment survey data, he suggested that all the graduates should attach great importance to improving their foreign language capabilities as well as the leadership, computer skills, and emotion management, which were essential in the future career.
At the end of the meeting, Xiang Yu encouraged all the graduates to think about their future and plan for the career as soon as possible. She suggested that all the graduateds should act now and work hard to seize the the opportunities of summer internships. Moreover, she expressed her lovely wish that all the graduates would find satisfactory jobs in the end.
Jiao Kemin, a 2020 graduate from the Japanese Interpretation Department, said that, through this meeting, she was well aware of the golden time to seek jobs, the capabilities needed for the future career, and what she should paid special attention to in finding a good job. She added that she would act quickly to make plans for her future and career and tried her best to be well prepared.
