On the afternoon of April 15th, Mr. Andreas Schonle, president of the Department of the Modern Linguistics in the University of Bristol paid a visit to the CFL and communicate with each other.
Yan Guodong, president of the CFL, Ma Hongqi and Wang Kai, vice presidents of the CFL, Miao Ju, dean of the Center of Translation study and directors of the Graduate Office participated in the meeting. In Russian, Pro. Yan communicated with Schonle on student exchange and the cooperation between the two schools. Wang Kai made a though discussion on the fee deduction of the MA and MTI students who would study in the partner’s school, the way of cooperation, the distribution of scholarships, credits recognition and double degree. Miao ju posed some questions on the way of learning and curriculum and hoped that promoted the cooperation on the library and network resources sharing.
In the end of the meeting, Schonle conversed with those students who aimed to do further study in the University of Bristol and introduced the curriculum, faculty and teaching facilities. The meeting ended with the detailed answers of Schonle.
