On April 4th, Lv Linhai, the professor of the Institution of Education, deputy head of the Institute of Curriculum and Instruction and Center for Higher Education Research and Evaluation, paid a visit to the CFL and delivered an academic report on “ Deep Learning of College Students: the International Academic Context and Local Chinese Studies”. Zhang Wenzhong, the professor of the CFL, hosted the lecture and students and teachers from different grades and different universities attended it.
Lv Linhai divided his lecture into three parts: the source of the deep learning, the international academic context and local Chinese studies. Besides, he depicted, in a plainly stated way, the history of how students’ methodologies changed, the international academic research findings of Ramsden, Biggs and Crawfordand the characteristics of the Chinese students’ deep learning. Abound with a large amount of data, the lecture was intriguing and lovely.
At last, Pro. Zhang Wenzhong ended the lecture with a summary of the main points of Lv Linhai’s sppeech, about which students and teachers exchanged their ideas and from which they learned a lot .
