Through Jan 7th to 8th, examination for recommended students of foreign language and literature 2019 was held in the College of Foreign Language--the first special enrollment examination in Nankai University in 2009. The majors consisted of English, Translation, Japanese, France, Germany, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. Altogether 154 students from 14 foreign language from schools took part in the examination, a sharp increase over last year.
In accordance with the policy , Nankai University shall admit fresh graduates of foreign language at home and abroad with outstanding academic performance, good physical health, high comprehensive quality and sound development. The school would be committed to foster a pool of globally qualified talents engaging in foreign language.
The examination is divided into two parts--wrriten examination and interview. The written examination consists of 3 tests --Chinese, Mathematics and English. If your score is over the cutoff mark of the single subject in Chinese and Mathematics, taking your English performance into consideration, the leading group for enrollment would determine the enrollment list and your majors according to the priority of your total score. Students of foreign language and literature admitted to the school shall not change your majors to the non-linguistics ones.
Recommended students admission is the expression of the Enrollment System Reform. Under the leadership of the group for enrollment, the supervision of the Office of Undergraduate admission and the full participation of the Discipline Inspection Department, the enrollment is under its way and supervision is welcomed from the society.
