Living in the world should take honesty as base, which is also the norm of socialist core values for citizens’ basic morality. In order to create a down-to-earth, honest test atmosphere, help students establish correct values and maintain the bottom line, College of Foreign Languages conducts integrity education through multiple channels on the eve of the test week.
Nankai University Undergraduate Students' Rules is a basic requirement for students. Counselors in College of Foreign Languages lead the students to conduct the second study of the Rule, especially the course assessment, the record of achievements, and the relevant examination records in the Undergraduate Student Handbook. Part of the method of dealing with disciplinary violations was carefully studied, and the identification and handling of exam violations and cheating were elaborated to help students strengthen their awareness of rules and clear the bottom line requirements.
In addition, from the perspective of overall and pragmatic, the College of Foreign Languages has formulated a comprehensive assistance plan for key student groups, in order to prevent the occurrence of test dishonesty from the root cause. Counselors provide students with academic peers, psychological guides, value the role of leading students in class, take the initiative to care for key students, help them to ease pre-test academic and psychological pressure, and guide students to correctly handle long-term interests and short-term interests. The Student Youth Branch of the College of Foreign Languages conducts the organizational life meeting in December with the theme of honesty and education. The branches of each group give full play to the students' initiative, and use case analysis, keynote speeches, and online publicity to fully cover the integrity education and lead all students learn about the social integrity system in the long-term perspective and sign the College of Foreign Language Integrity Examination Commitment Letter to make the integrity deep into the hearts of the people.
