From November 9th to 10th, the 4th “Bridge between China and Europe” International Symposium jointly organized by Macao Polytechnic, Beijing Language and Culture University and Leiria Institute of Technology was held at Beijing Language and Culture University.
Nearly 30 scholars and experts from Portugal, Macau and the Mainland attended the event. The theme of the conference was language education, language services and language technology in the information age. The conference focused on language resources, language education, language services, language technology, and artificial intelligence, international and regional cooperation. The conference consisted of six sub-topics.
Hu Jing, head of the Portuguese Major at the University of Foreign Languages of our school, attended the conference and delivered a Portuguese-speaking keynote under the topic of language resources and language and technology. The topic of the speech is "O Uso das TIC no Ensino ea aprendizagem de Lingua Portuguesa" ("Application of Information and Communication Technology in Portuguese Language Teaching"), which focuses on Portuguese language teaching in the context of globalization, application of information and communication technology in Portuguese language teaching and the corresponding training of teachers.
In this seminar, our school teachers shared and understood the latest scientific research achievements in related fields, further broadening the research ideas and enhancing the academic exchanges and cultural exchanges between our university and foreign universities.
