Recently, the kick-off meeting of the employment of 2019 graduates was held in the auditorium of the College of Foreign Languages. The meeting was chaired by the employment leaders. Li Na, deputy secretary of the party committee and vice dean of the collee, attended the meeting and made a summary, and all 2019 graduates participated.
At the meeting, the employment leaders analyzed and summarized the status of employment for 2018 graduates, emphasizing that the college will strive to create more targeted and individualized employment guidance and services combined with the actual situation. Students were required to be proactive and “maintain calmness” in their job search. Afterwards, they also listed those things that students needed to pay attention and make preparations every month from mow to June next year whether they choosed to take jobs, take examinations for civil servants or study for higher education from now to June next year, stressing the procedures that students should complete before they left school and reminding students to adjust their job search mentality, be confident in job hunting and seek employment safely.
In order to further guide graduates to establish their own merits in middle and western regions and at the grassroots level and encourage them to integrate personal development into the great practice of the Chinese dream, the second session of the kick-off meeting invited the Research Institute for Talents with Social Morality and Ability to give a comprehensive introduction to the general situation of the selected graduates of Nankai University, analyze employment policy at the grass-roots level. and share the stories of the outstanding alumni.
