On March 15th, the evaluation of the 2018 undergraduate innovative research project was successfully held. Du Weihua, vice president of the College of Foreign Languages, Li Dongyuan, director of the Teaching and Research Office, and teacher representatives and counselors from various departments served as the judges. In 2018, 7 project teams participated in the evaluation, and new application project team participated to learn experiences.
After the materials review, team presentation, and questioning by judges, the “Declaration of German Literature Popularization Status Analysis and Suggestion” project led by Liu Yumeng, a 2015 Grade Germany Major students and “The Tracing of the Spirit of Deleuze's Philosophy” project, led by 2014 Grade French major student Liang Wendong served won the first and second prize, and got the qualifications to compete in university level.
Li Dongyuan conducted a summary analysis on the team's condition and made specific arrangements for the new project's progress. Du Weihua highly prized the efforts and achievements of various project teams and encouraged the new project team to implement seriously and actively, enhance their scientific research capabilities through the process of the project.
It is reported that since the establishment of undergraduate innovative research projects, the College of Foreign Languages has attached great importance to the recruitment and training of students' research teams, and the participation of undergraduate students has actively participated. The participation rate has been steadily increasing. The development of this project has effectively promoted the research capability of undergraduate students in the college.
