On December 1st, the annual Dual Select Will took place at Bo Ling Building in NKU. Forty companies came to the conference with several hundred jobs such as translation, human resources and education and over a hundred students from or out of NKU were attracted .

To make students know more about the companies and related jobs, the formsof roadshows and online interviews of the companies were used in the conference for the first time and those students who were not present could get real-time information through online live. 20 companies introduced their management, job requirements, company cultures through videos and PPT, and the question-and-answer session between the host and HR provided answers for students’ questions concerned job choice and employment. We could know through interviews that companies attached much emphasis on abilities of learning, innovation and communication in the process of talent recruitment and as for foreign language students, the language competence was especially important. And online live had attracted more students and expanded the conference’s influence with 485 students involved.

In the conference, Xing Qingheng -the think-tank tutor of “lighthouse plan ” and the senior manager of the department of school recruitment of Zhaopin- revised resumes and offered advice for free for students, and Liu Ruiyi and Liu Yu-two tutors from NKU - also explained the employment policy to students and provided career planning for them. Besides, translators from Translation Center of CFL also gave advice on students’ English resumes for free. At last, the staffs of the conference collected the feedback from companies and questionnaires from students to form accurate and effective data analysis and further improve the quality of career guidance in the future.

The conference is the fifth Dual-Select Conference held by CFL. CFL always pays much attention to students’ career guidance and managed to guide students in the whole process of employment. The conference not only encouraged the graduates to participate, but also non-graduate to come and experience the conference in advance so that they can know something about the job requirements and prepare for their employment and career planning earlier.

Now, CFL has formed a series of activities covering 12 aspects named “Job Running Man”to help students to be better employed including model interview, face-to-face with jobs and exchanges with others.
