From September 28th to 30th, the fifth University Japanese teacher professional development forum and the backbone teachers' seminar held by the Japanese Teaching Research Association of China were held at Xi'an International Studies University. Han Wen and Yu Jun, two key teachers of Japanese Department of CFL attended the meeting. More than 100 experts, scholars and key teachers from all over the country have gathered together to attend the grand meeting.
The theme of the meeting is the theory and methods of improving college teachers' ability of teaching—theories and methods of teaching activities.” In the two and a half day schedule, two teachers not only listen to the domestic and foreign experts to share the experience of teaching and research, but also actively participate in the training workshops, and to learn the problems in teaching and training experience. They together make a poster, at the closing ceremony of the exhibition.
It is learnt that two teachers of Han Wen and Yu Jun teach the first-year Japanese intensive reading and integrated Japanese courses. They have benefited from this conference greatly. Through expert coaching and in the workshop and other institutions teacher exchange, teaching ideas has been open up, they said, and they will bring new ideas and methods in the workshop as soon as applied to the actual teaching.
