CFL of Nankai University adheres to the mission of foreign language expertise, cultural literacy, international vision, Chinese feelings, Nankai characteristics. It has more than 7000 graduates. Studying abroad and exchange programme are important ways to cultivate students of international vision.
Between June 2016 and June 2017, CFL has sent and will send up to 100 students to 45 schools in 13 countries and regions for exchange, accounting for 13% of students in the college. There are 52 exchange students on the university level, 45 people on 29 college programs, and 3 people at their own expenses. The number for Students of undergraduate exchange is 70, including 8 German majors, 12 Russian majors, 10 French majors, 20 Japanese majors, 10 Spanish majors, 7 English majors, and 3 translation majors. There are also 6 students attending internship in France, 3 for summer school, and 1 person at his own expense. The number of graduate students for exchange is 20 , among which 1 is PhD student.
