The Ministry of Education announced the national college undergraduate professional filing and annual approval results of 2016 . The programs of Portuguese and Italian are approved by the Ministry of education for the record. Up to now, there are 9 undergraduate programs, including English, Russian, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and translation.
The program of Portuguese aims to cultivate student with good humanistic quality and knowledge of solid Portuguese language and literature. They should understand the society and culture of Portuguese speaking countries, with a strong Portuguese language skill. They can be professional talents in foreign affairs, translation, education, research, management and other fields of Portuguese.
Student will learn the basic knowledge of Italian linguistics and literature, system, scientific and strict Italian reading, writing and translation skills training, the ability of written and oral expression, ability of cross-cultural communication, the use of professional knowledge of discovery, analysis and problem solving, the ability to obtain knowledge, and creative thinking ability in academic research, the cultivation of higher humanistic quality, skilled use of Italian language, solid Italian language and literature specialty and related professional knowledge. They can use Italian freely in foreign affairs, education, culture, trade, science and technology, military, business and other sectors requiring the use of Italian and Chinese translation.
Students will be awarded bachelor of literature in the study of Portuguese and Italian.
According to reports, newly founded program on the undergraduate level will achieve a high starting point with characteristics and high degree of internationalization.
