On June 3, Prof. Zhang Yan from Beijing Normal University gave a lecture entitled “Shakespeare the Poet”-- the 246th lecture of Nankai Scholarly Weekends. Delivered around the 400th anniversary of the death of Shakespeare, the lecture deepened the students’understanding of Shakespeare’s sonnets.
