On the evening of May 23, a Canadian students’ cultural exchange group from Quebec visited the Foreign Languages College of Nankai University, beginning their 5-day exchanges with teachers and students in the French specialty in the college. The group consists of over 20 members.
The visiting students offered a vivid introduction to the history, culture and customs of Quebec, Canada. At the same time, the French majors of FLC introduced traditional Chinese calligraphy, painting, education system, food culture, costume culture, and modern and contemporary popular culture to the Canadian students. These activities not only broadened their horizons, but also improved their language application ability.
