On April 8, an employment mobilization meeting for the fresh graduate of the year 2017 was held in the auditorium of the CFL. The employment cadres and all the BA and MA graduating students of the year 2017 attended the meeting.
The employment cadres gave the students a classified introduction and summary on the employment status of the year 2015, and analyzed the employment situation of the year 2016. They explained the situation with recent years’ employment cases in terms of different characteristics of foreign language studies.
At the meeting, the orientation and supporting programs were introduced, and the activity of “Workplace Running Man” was recommended to the fresh graduate of the year 2017. For the graduating student, these programs were particularly planned to assist the graduating students in their employment, such as workplace sources lecture, Peer Wordless Books reading, employment skill training, and recruitment consultancy. These four sections, with the help of school enterprise resources, contains 12 topics with 30 speeches, saloons, trainings, exchanges, and practices etc.
Many attended students said that the meeting was not only a simple mobilization but also a practical help and useful reminding. With the help of the CFL, they said that they would become more confident in the employment fighting and they were sure to find a suitable job.
The CFL always attach great importance to students’ career planning and employment guidance. The CFL set up the employment guidance with the principle of problem-based orientation, regarding the students’ need as the starting-point, and carrying out lower grade career searching and planning and senior grade employment guidance in a “monthly system” with an aim to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of the CFL’s employment guidance.
