On the afternoon of April 6, Liu Huangqing, Product Supervisor and Customers Growth Team Director of Beijing Leridge Technology Co., Ltd., and also German major alumni of Grade 2006, held a report on “Internet and German Student Employment” for the students of German Department at the Room 110 of the CFL. The report contained many interactivities and evoked warm enthusiasm.
In the report, based on his own learning and working experiences, Liu Huaqing provided many suggestions and advices for the students, such as learning what you are interested and acquiring more abilities by broaden your knowledge etc. Mr. Liu placed emphasis on the double minors system, and emphatically suggested that the most important thing in this system is the personal interests. According to Mr. Liu, the students should master at least one high quality minor, because present society does not need an all-round person but a man of skill. The students also asked many questions which were closely related with Mr. Liu’s own working status and experience, such as the employment situation in Beijing, job orientation of German and internet, major choice of the postgraduate entrance examination etc.
Mr. Chen, a student of German Department, said that “I find that the internet economics is developing very quickly and I am going to apply for a job in an internet company. I am very grateful for Mr. Liu’s report because his advice and suggestions would help me a lot in the preparation and choice of employment even though I am still in the university.
