On March 16, Center for Youth Volunteer Service and Social Practice held the 2016 summer social practice mobilization meeting with the theme of “The more practice of it, the more clearly understanding of it”. Xiang Yu, the league sectary of CFL attended the meeting. Some outstanding student representatives and teams of 2015 shared their experience, with the aim to recruit some new blood for the 2016 summer social practice.
Xiang Yu reviewed the overall situation and achievement of 2015 summer social practice, and encouraged the students to utilize well the social practice opportunity, to merge into the society, to broaden their perspectives, and to learn how to think in a right way. The meeting invited Huang Peng and Lai Dingkun, two outstanding representatives of 2015 Tianjin university and college student volunteers, and Dong Junzhi, director of the demonstration team, to share lively with pictures and explanations their own experience on how to propose a subject, the mid-term preparation, commercialization, and some lessons learned during this process. Huang Peng considered that the real social meaningful subject can be only drafted after careful reading of the issuing notice and the hot news on “Three Cares”.
It is said that CFL has formed its own working idea of “green hands under the supervision of seniors---review by the college to perfect---looking back to share and communicate”. The student carders, deputy party secretary, and some young professional teachers of CFL also joined this three-step working system, which surely help the students to set up clear practice aim, to refine their practice planning, and to strengthen their project feasibility. At the same time, CFL set up “special funds for the summer social practice” to support the teams which have new and meaningful subjects, great social influence, obvious achievement on commercialization, good reaction from the serving place, and high degree of fusion between the students and teachers.
