The conclusion report was announced on the Annual Project, Young Scholar Projects and Western Projects supported by the National Social Science Foundation.
Appraised by the peer experts nationwide, there are overall 216 Annual projects, Young Scholar Projects and Western Projects have been reviewed as completed. 14 projects have been evaluated as “excellent”, 104 projects as “good”, 94 projects as “qualified” and 4 projects granted exemption from evaluation. But there are still 54 projects left suspended from completion.
“Russian’s view of China in Qing Dynasty” has been appraised as “excellent” of the Annual Project supported by the National Social Science Foundation. This project was led by Professor Yan Guodong, Dean of College of Foreign Languages and also a doctoral supervisor in the department of Russian.
