From 15 to 17 December, Nankai-Tohoku Academic Exchange Forum was held at College of Foreign Languages in Nankai University. It was jointly held by the Department of Japanese and Institute of Japan Studies from Nankai University, and Graduate School of Tohoku University and Tohoku Multi-cultural Academic Foundation from Japan.
The teachers and students from Tohoku University and the delegates from Tohoku Multi-cultural Academic Foundation were shown around the campus, and visited the Jiayong and Jiangkou Library at Institute of Japan Study. Soon afterwards, they had a meeting with Professor Yan Guodong, Dean of College of Foreign Languages, and reached a consensus. The two sides signed the agreement for the cooperation on teaching and research, and the student exchange.
